Gurupurnima was celebrated in three ways today in our Vidyalaya.

(A) For Primary (I-V): 6th period.

• Puja
• Speech on importance of it and role of guru in life . It was in Hindi.
• Attendance: 360 children and 10 staff

(B) For VI-XII: 7th-8th periods.

• Puja
• Guruasthuti – By the students participated in Sargam Camp.
• Speech in Sanskrit on meaning of guru mantra (By Km. Rituja R Kakade of Class-VII) and in Hindi on importance of guru in one's life (Km. Dichi Bini Doley of Class-VII).
• Importance of values in life (By all teachers in their respective classes).
• Attendance: 468 children and 12 staff

(C) Residential Staff: Discussion on Kendra Prarthana.

• All senior staff came prepared and good sharing was there. Hope that new teachers must have understood the meanings.
