126th birthday of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India and the leader of Non-Alignment movement was celebrated in VKV Itanagar as ‘Children’s Day’. Km. Yaya Modi of Class X, highlighted the contributions of Jawaharlal Nehru.There was patriotic song competition between eight houses of the school namely Anne Doni, Nani Indaya, Kinne Nani, Rukmini, Prithvi, Agni, Vayu and Akash.Akash house stood first and Nani Indaya and Kinne Nani secured second and third respectively. A football match was also conducted on the occasion.
