Shri J. Guruvayya, Senior Teacher Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Itanagar was honoured with the prestigious CBSE Teachers Award for 2013 in recognition of his valuable contribution in the field of education. He has been serving in various VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh for the last 34 years. Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, the Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India, has given away the award in a colourful function at Manekshew Centre, New Delhi on the eve of Teachers’ Day.
