The Mahasamadhi Diwas of Swami Vivekananda has been observed in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya on 4th July in a very simple manner. Just after the prayer session, the simple ceremony started with a patriotic song, “Hey Vivekananda Swami”, by Nyarik Ete Sir followed by a speech by the principal, Balaji N. Waghmare . He highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s multi faceted personality and his contribution to take the Indian culture to a new height in the international platform. The enlightened speech followed by a swadhaya on Swami Vivekananda’s life. Each teacher expressed their views on Swami Vivekananda and the personality trait of Swamiji they are influenced by. The simple ceremony was concluded with Shanti Mantra followed by the floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda.
