In India, Raksha Bandhan celebration is about strengthening the bond of love between brothers and sisters and fostering brotherhood. Likewise, in our school Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vivek Vihar also celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 3rd August, 2020 in the morning at 9 A.M.

The programme started with mangalacharan and then the inaugural speech was delivered by our honorable Principal, Shri. M.V. Ravindran and along with speech on Raksha Bandhan and the significance of Sanskrit Divas was briefly given by Shri. Ashok Kumar Mishra and Shri. Moolchand Sharma respectively.

All the staff members as well as family members attended the program and all members tied Raksha Sutra to the Swamiji’s Statue and tied on the medicinal plants and trees surrounding in our school campus. The students wore traditional dresses and tied Rakhi and celebtrated Raksha bandhan in their houses. The auspicious program concluded with Kendra Parthana.
