VKV Vivek Vihar celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s 158th birth anniversary and Natioanl Youth Day in a befitting manner today in the school’s prayer hall.

The Principal of the school Sri Ravindran welcomed the gathering.

Dr.V.N.Sharma Vice Chancellor, Arunodaya University was the Chief Guest. Sri Pai Dawe, President NIFCS & Executive Engineer Water Resource Department Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, was the Special Guest.

The Chief Guest Dr.V.N.Sharma he requested to the students and parents not to take only education but also take messages of swamiji and follow it throughout their life .He appealed the students to acquire life skills to make yourself fit in any situations and always be loyal to the society which helped us in achieving and pay back to it. He gave “Personality Development” book of Swamiji as gift to class X students.

The special guest Sri Pai Dawe started his speech with Ravindra Nath Tagore’s view on swamiji i.e. if you want to know about India you have to read Swami Vivekananda and he remembered VKV’s motto Man Making Nation Building to the gathering .

The students of the school presented a wonderful cultural programme.
