Raksha bandhan parv was celebrated in a grand manner at VKV Vivek vihar on 07th August at 8.30 a.m. Students from class I to X attended this programme. Sisters tied Rakhi on the wrist of brothers and they felt an emotional environment. Km. Pujum Zirdo (Class VI) delivered the speech on significance of the day. There are 27 teachers and 520 students attended in this celebration.

After the school programme, there are 45 nos’ of selected students divided into 3 groups went to different schools such as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir, Vivekananda Central School and Govt. Secondary school, Police Colony under the leadership of 3 groups of teachers. Students got very good impression from the outside schools where they visited. Three students from our school have delivered an attentive speech in that respective school; Km Nani Sunya (Class X), Km Jirbi Karlo (Class X) & Km Toyir Basar (Class X) respectively.
