On the eve of celebration of the National Reading Month (18th June to 19th July) a Reading and Art competition was organized on 14th July 2017, at Sate Central Library, Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh. As per the circular Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vivek Vihar conducted a school level reading and art competition on 13th

July in the school premises and selected five students:-

• Dai Yajit.
• Vasundhara Burogohain.
• Tao Rinya.
• Tad Nimpu.
• Nani Muni.

These five students have participated at the final competition and Km. Vasundhara Burogohain won the first prize of Rs.5000/- and she has received the prize from J.Borang, Director of Public Libraries, Govt. Of Arunachal Pradesh Itanagar.

The students were escorted and guided by Su. Nabanita Kundu throughout the whole event.
