74 th Independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at VKV Tafrogam. The ceremony started at 7:30 AM in the school open ground with staff members(teaching and non-teaching).

The programme started with flag hosting by Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey,CIC Lohit cluster followed by National Anthem and Vande Mataram song.A very refreshing speech was given by Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey sir highlighting the significance of the day. Sir also highlighted about the growth of the nation. Patriotic song was sung by the teachers and the programme ended with the slogan "KHUN BHI DENGE, JAAN BHI DENGE, DESH KI MITTI KABHI NAHI DENGE", BHARAT MATA KI JAI.
