The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Friday 20th December 2019 to 21st December 2019, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal Smt. Shanthi Manoharan Di welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life. Principal, Smt Shanthi Manoharan Di hosted the School flag and also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the four houses. Sri Sanmukhan P along with Principal Di lit the ceremonial torch and Km. Beautilu Dilu of class IX, best athlete of session 2018-19, carried the torch.

The oath being administered by the School captain Km. Ngunlam Wangsa. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion as Su. Rumi Khakhlari declared the sports meet open. This was entailed by the races wherein the participants participated with full verve and vigour. It was a delight to see the excitement with which the students challenged themselves to attempt a variety of races such as sack race, obstacle race, , skipping race, relay, balloon poop race. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

Fun time with a tug- of- war between the staff and class X students added to the enjoyment.

The school playground rimmed with flags and balloons reverberating with the sound of cheers made everyone’s day. At the end of the annual sports day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Anikmatai House emerged as House Champions. These two days filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The principal, Snt. Shanthi Manoharan thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children to keep up their sportsman spirit.
