Teachers shape the mind of our children and our future. They are really no words to express gratitude for all they do. Many of them are role models and make a huge difference in the lives of children”. The Birthday of Dr. Radhakrishnan, the former president of our country, Bharat is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in VKV Longding with different programme to highlight the specialty and greatness of the teachers and their works. The programme started with Ekya mantra followed by welcome address by Sri Ram Bahadur Chetry highlight the role of teachers in the society.  Sri Nitya Praksh Tiwari, Hindi teacher spoke about the importance of the day. The two Guru Bhajans were performed by Smt. Minakshi sinha and Su. Sumitra Borgohain. Self composed poem presented by all the teachers. Sri K.V Dineshan, Principal gave the Blessing words and he expressed a teacher-a pillar of support, an epitome of strength, as loving as a mother, as strict as a father, as caring as a friend so approachable and warm at heart. A teacher-  a beautiful human being. The programme concluded with Shanty Mantra.
