Mananeeya Eknathj Ranadeji , the founder of Vivekananda Kendra and Vivekananda Rock memorial,was observed in VKV Longding today. All Centres and Vidyalayas of Vivekananda Kendra observe the day as Eknathji Punya Tithi.

Our school programme started with Aikya mantra followed by weicome address by Su. Sumitra bogohain, maths teacher. Sri Ram Bahadur Chetry, English teacher gave the importance of the day. The key points of his speech

• One should be an engine head to carry all the loads
• He narrated the story of Rock memorial
• Narrated the life Incident of Manneneya Eknathji Ranade life.
• We should have one life one Mission in our life.

Lastly , all the staff of VKV Longding paid the floral tribute to the decorated photograph of Manneeneya Eknathji Ranade followed by tribute of song “Vandana Abhinandana Hey Dev Shata Shata Vandana.
