Annual Sports Meet was conducted for the kids of Class KG to V under Sub-Junior and Junior Category. This 2 daylong programme kicked off with Lighting of the Torch, March Past, Surya Namaskar and colouful Mass PT Drill. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Lakhi Nath Handique, Principal, VKV,( NEEPCO ), Kimi said, “ Sports not only measures our physical endurance, but also test mental strength.” He further added that we should play sports in true spirit and respect the opponents.  After the Pledge Ceremony, the games were declared open by the Principal.

The main highlight of the second day’s events was Fancy Dress Competition, which was inducted to celebrate Children’s Day in an exciting manner. Apart from conventional games, two Kendra Games, i.e. Kendra Chalo and Surang Daud were also included for the first time. In total, 26 individual games and 5 group games were conducted, along with Football and Kho-Kho for Junior boys and girls respectively.
