On the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, VKV Longding organized a meaningful awareness program during the morning assembly on 26th June 2025. The event aimed to educate and sensitize students about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

The program began with a powerful and inspiring speech by a student, highlighting the dangers of drug addiction and the importance of making healthy life choices. This was followed by an address by the Principal, who emphasized the need for collective responsibility in creating a drug-free society and encouraged students to remain focused on their goals.

A pledge was taken by all present to stay away from drugs and help others do the same. Posters with messages like “Say No to Drugs” and “Healthy Youth, Drug-Free Nation” were displayed to reinforce the message visually.

A total of 198 students and 8 teachers actively participated in the program, making it a successful awareness drive.
