Guru Purnima event was celebrated on 23rd July 2021 at VKV Longding with  full of enthusiasm. This day is celebrated to all over in India with the  objectives of creating awareness among the students and teachers about            Sanatana dharma of our nation and its rich cultural heritage of “Guru-     Shishya Parampara”. It was celebrated to make the people to understand and   realize the importance of guru in their lives. The programme started with three Omkaras followed with Ekya Mantra. The sequence of the programme as follows:

  • Sri Ram Bahadur Chetry , English teacher, VKV Longding gave a welcome speech and highlighted the role of guru in the society
  • Nitya Prakash Tiwari , Hindi Teacher, VKV Longding expressed the role and importance of guru in one’s on life.
  • Guru Bhajan was sung by Smt. Minakshi Sinha and Su. Sumitra Borgohain
  • A Swadhyaya was conducted on this occasion. The topic for the discussion was the letter from Mananeeya Nivedita Didi’s on the occasion of Guru Purnima . All the teachers were present and the following points were discussed in the Swadhyaya.
  • Need to protect Sanatana Dharma by practicing and propagating.
  • The practical element of Mahabharata in our day today life.
  • Role of Guru in the present scenario .
  • The basic ideal of Vedas as an organization outlook.
  • The role of Swami Vivekananda for preserving the knowledge of Vedanta.
  • Blessing words gave by Principal VKV, Longding Sri K.V Dineshan.
