Matri Puja conducted in VKV Tezu
On 02/02/2025, Sunday, Matri Puja was conducted in our school for the outgoing Class-X students to honor the bond between a mother and her child and to instill in our students the importance of mothers in our lives and culture, where mothers hold a revered position.
On this occasion, Dr. Sajinglu Chai Pul, the first Mishmi Lady Doctor, was invited as the Chief Guest. A total number of 26 parents(22 Mothers and 4 Fathers) were present on the occasion. Students were guided on Matri Puja rituals by Sri Mahesh Kumar Pandey, Sanskrit Teacher of our school.
In her speech, Chief Guest Dr. Sajinglu Chai Pul called upon the Class-X outgoing students to respect their parents and utilize time well before their Board examination. The Puja started at about 10:30 am and ended at about noon with Shanti Mantra
