Republic Day Celebration at VKV Tezu

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tezu, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 26th January 2026. The day began early with a Prabhat Pheri at Jubilee Ground, Tezu, where students from various schools assembled at 6:00 a.m. to mark the commencement of the celebrations.
Following this, students of VKV Tezu assembled at the school campus at 7:00 a.m. for the National Flag Unfurling Ceremony. As the Tricolour was unfurled, the atmosphere was filled with pride and reverence, resonating with the echo of the National Anthem.
On this occasion, the Principal delivered an inspiring address highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the historical importance of the Indian Constitution. He also recalled the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, whose ideas inspired many freedom fighters, and urged students to develop a strong sense of responsibility and actively contribute to the progress and unity of the nation. He reminded everyone of the immense sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and emphasized the duty to remember and honour them.
Later in the day, two March Past teams from the school proudly represented VKV Tezu at the Republic Day celebration organized by the District Administration at Jubilee Ground. The students further showcased their talents through a patriotic dance performance and a PT display, both of which were highly appreciated by the audience.
The celebration was a memorable one, filled with national pride, discipline, and patriotism, leaving everyone inspired and reminded of their duties as responsible citizens of India.
