National Youth Day Celebrated - VKV Mugto

The National Youth day/ 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated on 12th January, 2020 at school with great joy.
The block education officer Mogto Sri Pema Dondup was honoured the school by having the chief guest’s seat. Smti. Yeshi Lhamu, A.E. (PWD), Mogto was present as guest of honour. (ADC Jang Sri Lobsang Wangchu Papu was supposed to come, but due to his illness he had cancelled the visit).
Students of the school had participated in various types of cultural events in that very programme like- patriotic song, traditional dance, Drama, Street play etc. all the students and parents were present in that very programme.
On that very event the school had arranged general exhibition to show the creativity of the student in different subjects such as India, Arunachal, Monpa culture and tradition, games and sports, craft, English, Hindi, Maths, Social Science, EVS, Science and sanskrit. Each subject had displayed their creation and explained in front of the guests in their individual stalls.
In front of the exhibition stall different types of captions are beautifully mentioned to make these attractive. The guests and the parents were appreciated the effort taken by the school.

National Youth Day Celebrated -VKV Namsai

It was a wonderful moment for the students, parents, teachers, well wishers and the alumni members as they were becoming a part of history by participating in the first ever National Youth Day celebration at VKV Namsai.

This was also Swamiji's Jayanti as well as the culmination of the Samarth Bharat Parva celebration which began on 25 December.
The programs began with Bharat Mata Arati. Then the students, parents, well wishers and the alumni members together went out for a procession. It passed through the medical colony, district hospital, Buddhist temple and reached Namsai town tinali and returned to school. On the way there were slogans on Bharat Mata, Swamiji and National unity.
After reaching the campus there was a meeting. It was presided by Sri.Jumtum Potom , AE of DUDA where Sri. Mowney Singkai welcomed the gathering. Sri.Madhu Bal highlighted the importance of the day and Smt.Khetrani Longphoi gave the vote of thanks.
The program concluded with Shanthi Mantra.
The gathering left the place after enjoying sweets and snacks.

Release of 28th Volume of Arohi

A report

The 28th Volume of Arohi, the house magazine of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh has been released at VKV Itanagar on 21th November 2019 by Man. Nivedita Didi Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari &  Shri. Pai Daveji Sahaprant Pramukh Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh.

On this occasion Man. Nivedita didi blessed with her kind words to all. She told the students to contribute something to protect our community and culture that should be our prime duty because we are nothing but expanded part of our community and culture.

Shri. Pai Daweji also addressed all the students about unique programme of indigenous faith in which they have planned to build Doni Polo Gumko at Pasighat a integrated place of worship for major five tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. This would be a great initiative to recreate the oneness among all the mass of Arunachal Pradesh.

VKV-Longding-inauguration

 

VKV Longding, a school exclusively for girls set up at picturesque location some 3 kilometers from Longding town began its journey towards nation building as Swami Vivekananda envisaged , here on Thursday.

The "Varsharamba Puja" program to mark the beginning of a new session was attended by Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust, Su.  Aparna Didi , Education Officer VKVAPT Unikrsihnan, VKV alumni, students and their parents.

Secretary Aparna Palekar Didi, speaking on the occasion informed that VKV Longding now has joined the family of 38 other VKVs in Arunachal. She sought the cooperation of the general public , government and VKV alumni for smooth functioning of the school as she opined that the support of the parents and the local community is as important as that of student and school management team. "In that way we can uphold the image and sanctity of the school it is known for." She reiterated.

Meanwhile Hon'ble MLA Longding Sh Tanpho Wangnaw in his message expressed his gratitude to the government of AP, and the authority of VKVAPT for establishment of the school at Longding, while he also lauded the people of Senua for donation of land for the purpose. " I am hopeful that the VKV authority and teaching staff of the school will impart quality education to my people of Longding by establishing the much needed VKV school." He informed.

Education Officer, VKVAPT Shri Unikrishnan in his brief speech remembered former Longding MLA Sh Thangwang Wangham for his indispensable role in realising VKV school at Longding.

"He personally visited the office of VKVAPT to convince his intention to set up a VKV at Longding and to monitor the movement of files at each step so that the files don't get delayed unnecessarily", he said.

He also thanked former Longding DC Himanshu Gupta for his role in speeding up the establishment of VKV Longding.

Later Principal VKV Longding, Shri Dinesh Nair sought the cooperation of the people of Longding in running the school, who read out certain dos and don't before the parents. He assured that the students would be imparted the best education.

Prayers and rituals were performed to invoke the blessings of God for the newly inaugurated school. 


VKV Alumni led by Dr Wangnai Wangsu presented a beautiful rendition of "Saraswati Vandana."

Much to the delight of the parents, two private buses has also been arranged to ferry the children at nominal fees.
