Library Week Observed - VKV Tezu
Library week was observed in VKV Tezu from 19th to 25th November, 2018 inculcating a sense of importance of book reading and an awareness of reading habit in the young minds of the school. It was inaugurated on 19th November, 2018 on Sadhana Diwas by Sri Suresh Kr Behera, Principal, Tezu at 09.00 am.
Library books which were brand new displayed and hung in the School Library to inflame the interest of students towards library and library reading.
Students from Class VII to VIII were taken to District Library, Tezu for library reading from 21st to 22nd November, 2018 for an hour for each class during the days. There was a mass reading of library books on 24th November, 2018 on Guru Nanak Jayanti. There were 125 students at a time read the books of their choice sitting on the school ground in the same day. Library activities like Book review and its presentation in the school assembly were assigned to the senior students randomly in the rotation wise during the week.
