District Level Science Seminar Observed - VKV Joram

 To inculcate a spirit of scientific  temper and analytical thinking in the minds of young students, District level Science Seminar-2019  on the topic- ‘Periodic Table of Chemical Elements : Impects on Human Welfare ’ was held at GHSS Ziro, Lower Subansiri on 13 August 2019 in collaboration with Deputy Director of School  Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. Km Likha Ania of class VIII represented VKV Joram in the District Level Science Seminar and bagged Second position. A total number of 15  students studying in classes VIII- X from 15 different schools of Lower Subansiri  district  participated with their presentation. Each participant delivered their presentation on the above topic for 6 minutes before a panel of judges.

 DDSE OF Lower Subansiri was present as Chief Guest in the valedictory cum Prize distribution ceremony held in the afternoon  and gave away the prizes and certificates to winners and others

Inter House Wall Magazine Competition Organized - VKV Joram

An inter house wall magazine competition was organized on 31st july 2019 . In house wise wall Magazine competition, all the 4 houses – Agni , Brahmos , Trishul and Akash displayed their ideas  beautifully in the form of charts , cartoons, thermocol design . Display boards were full of information. It was a sheer delight to see the students displaying their learning by taking it beyond classroom and curriculum so beautifully through the medium of art .Total 67 students took part in the competition from all the classes with great zeal and enthusiasm. For the competition there were two judges , Shri Ashok singh and Sri Samiran Barua. Students were judged on the basis of originality , creativity , coherence with theme and presentation. The presentation of Akash House house was adjudged the best. Competition was started at 12.30 pm and end at 1.50 pm

On-Going Science Seminar Conducted - VKV Joram

We got topic of Science Seminar through unofficial sources.  Pranjal Sir went to meet DDSE on 20.07.19 to get the information about the topic but they told that they did not receive the topic yet. We have  found the topic from other VKV and has started preparation  on the  Topic “Periodic Table of chemical elements-Impact on Human Welfare”. Resource materials for science seminar was downloaded and distributed among the students of classes VI-VIII. Preparation is going on and we have planned to conduct school level science seminar on 10-08-2019.

On - Going Manak Inspire Exhibition Conducted - VKV Joram

When we approached the District Incharge of  Manak Inspire Exhibition  for submitting our projects, we have found that our vkv Joram  was not registered for inspire exhibition , after that one time  online Registration  was done by school. Now the Ministry of Science & Technology  , India has forwarded the same registration  to District Authority for approval . We are waiting for approval , once the approval is over, User Id and Password is issued to us, we will upload the 3 projects which are already selected at school level . Project submitting date is upto 31 August 2019 .

Guru Poornima Celebration - VKV Joram

On 16th july 2019 , the staff and students of VKV JORAM observed the auspicious day of Guru poornima with great reverence and devotion. In the morning assembly km. joram Adam of class VIII gave a speech on the significance of Guru poornima and she also highlighted the importance of Guru in our lives. It was followed by four Guru Bhajans by all the four houses. In the 7th period shri Asish kumar sir and Smt. Durga Tripathi Didi conducted self composed Guru Bhajan writing competition for the students of class VI, VII, and VIII. The event was truly significant in making each staff member feel special for her/ his role in ensuring the all round development and well-being of their pupils. Total 71  students participated in the competition .  142 students and 12 staff members attented the programme. Truly , it is days like these that serve to keep alive the ‘Guru Shishya Parampara ‘ in the school. The day glorified the traditional practice of honoring the ‘Guru’ who play a vital role in shaping the future of the students
