This school, started in the year 1979, was the 1st VKV devoted exclusively for the girl-children of this State. It is located in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh and is 12 kilometers away from Tezu, district Head-Quarters of Lohit district. This district is surrounded by China in the North and east, Changlang district in south and Lower Dibang Valley District and Assam in the west. The inhabitants of the district are mainly of Mishmi & Khamti tribes. The majority of the people do not have any regular income.This school is up to Secondary Level. The school is on a serene beautiful hill top.
