This school was started in the year 1981. It is located in the Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, and is 90 kilometers from Khonsa, district Head-Quarters of Tirap district. Assam in the north and west, Nagaland in south, Myanmar in the East surrounds this district. The district has a total population of 100326 consisting of 52537 male and 47789 female. The District insurgency affected and the local people and various departmental employees are under constant threat from various militant group. The inhabitants of the district are mainly ‘Wangchu’ and ‘Nocte’ Tribe. This co-educational school is up to Middle Level, and is residential in nature with hostel-facility for boys only. Admissions are available for day-scholars in class I and hostellers in class III.
