VKV Jirdin

This girls’ school, started in the year 1982, is also one of the oldest VKVs in this State. It is located in the West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. China in the North, Assam in South upper Siang valley and East Siang districts in east and upper Sabinsiri District in the west surround this district. The inhabitants of the district are mainly ‘Adi Galo’ Tribe. This school located 10 kilometers away from Aalo (District Head-Quarters of West Siang and one of the oldest towns of Arunachal Pradesh) is up to Secondary level and is residential in nature. Admissions are available for day-scholars in Class I and hostellers in class IV.
