ArunJyoti:
Kendra has already initiated extensive mass contact and public awareness programmes in the year 1993 in the name of Arun Jyoti with the aim and Objective:
1: To develop effective contact with Arunachalee people through various services activities, unify them and thereby get their active co-operation for the Nation Building activities.
2: To help the Arunachalee people to nourish, strengthen, protect and retain our traditional and indigenous faithand culture and to enhance their self-confidence and self-reliance and to promote their character and personality.
As a first step, Kendra has adopted the entire Arunachal state for all-round development. Arun Jyoti project promote self-reliance and self-propelled development works through five fourms (Paanch Manch) to cater to the challenges of the society.
Anoupcharik Shiksha Manch: (For informal Education)
To instill moral and character-building values, this manch runs 35 balwadis,conducts Balsanskar vargas apart from periodically conducting Personality Development Camps,Teacher's Orientation Camps, Yoga varga and Yoga Prashishan Varga.
Swasthya Seva Manch: (For health care)
It promotes health care through medical camps,mobile medical van,vaccination camps,eye camps, ENT camps benefiting over 12000 person annually. Service minded youth are trained to work as Swasthya Rasshk in 35 villages to take care of curative and preventive health.
Yuva Manch: (For motivating youth)
The youth are future of the society, they are associated in various activites to channelise their innate dynamism and idealism for the development of society. Samuhik Surya Namskar, Youth Camps, Motivation Camps, Personality Develoment Camps,Padayatras, Cultureal Competitions are conducted.The youth thus are motivated to work for society.
Mahila Manch: (For women awareness)
Women are very resourceful and active in Arunachalee society.Vocational Training Centers train women to be economically self reliant and culturally vibrant. Besides Matru sammelans, Mahila Jagriti Shibirs are also organized.
Sanskritik Manch: (For promotions and preservation of culture)
Arunachalee communities are surging ahead confidently to keep pace with time for preservation of dynamic traditional faiths and culture. Change is not cutting off from one's roots but is an inseparable process of continuity. Continuity without change is stagnation and change without continuity is imitation resulting in loss of identity and self-destruction. Development thus becomes a process of self-renewal and regeneration on the lines the traditional genius of the society. Seminars and symposiums are organized by Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture, Guwahati amongst various communities with the active participation of the leading members of the society. The seminars also serve the purpose of documenting the details of their way of live hitherto preserved orally. Celebrations of various festivals, Shiva Poojas, Sarswati Poojas, Gita competitions, Swadhysys vargas, excusions to important places in the state as well as in the rest of country are some of the other activities of the Manch.
