MAHA BHASKARA SHASTRA VIJNAN PRADARSHANI SECOND DAY

 

The Maha Bhaskara Shastra Vijnan Pradarshani the Science Exhibition of the VKVs of the North East region entered the second day today attracting a large crowds consisting of people from all walks of life.

Students from various schools in the capital complex also visited the programme and availed the advantage of gaining the first hand information about the functioning models. Apart from this, the organizers provided ample opportunity of watching the 3D versions of scientific documentations.

The Vivekananda Kendra Joint General Secretary Mananeeya Pravin Dhabolkarji along with Sri.Rupesh Mathur, Prant Sanghatak of the Vivekananda Kendra Arunachal Pradesh also visited the exhibition halls and motivated the students to pursue their scientific expedition.

The eminent jury panel consisting of S/Sri.Dr.R N Pal, Er.Tage Taki, Dr.G.Murtem, Prof.S.K.Duloi, Er.OpongEring, Asst.Prf.Lisa Lomdak and Sri.Guru Charan Das examined the various models and were at loss of words by seeing some of the models and the simple theories on it worked. All the exhibits were based on the themes of Eco-friendly indigenous methods. There were sub themes on green energy, bio technology, fishing and hunting devices, household devices, fabric technology, potable water, agriculture, carpentry and house making and health care.

In the afternoon Dr.Mahanta of AP Science Centre spoke on “Dyeing Plants” and the listeners were transported to a different world. This was followed by an interaction session where the budding scientists got chances to clear their doubts and suggestions for future plans.

Dr.T.Ronya, Director of State Council for Science and Technology visited the Mahabhaskara Shastra Vijnan Pradarshani and motivated the budding scientists. He appreciated the students for skillfully modifying the traditions old techniques and equipments to fit for the present day’s needs. While going through the exhibits from various north eastern states he added that every indigenous culture has its own way of doing things. And there are certain similarities too. The uniqueness of them is that all of them are ecofriendly and user-friendly. This green technology is the need of the day.
