Akhil Bhartiya Adhikari Baithak (ABAB) 2011: Every third year the ABAB is held at VK Kanyakumari. The occasion is like a Kumbh bereft of Mela. There were Adhikaris from Nagar level for this Baithak. It was wonderful experience to listen to the multidimensional service activities going on at various centers that helps to perceive the colossal task of man making, taken up by VK. Mananeeya Parameshwaraji’s session on the significance of Team Work was simply a masterpiece. Mananeeya Balakrishnanji and Nivedita Didi, both Vice Presidents of VK also addressed and motivated the Karyakartas. After Baithak I had been to Coimbatore for Kendra Abhyas Shibhir for senior Jeevan Vritis of our organization. Shri. Shital Desai was sent to VKV Valliyur & Kanyakumari to train the students in Band Display. For us it is usual program in Arunachal but the only one of its kind for Valliyur town. The procession with School band has captivated the attention of local populace. At places there were replays on public request. The entire township got the taste of VKV’s stuff and style. The good, whatsoever form it be, has to go to places and beget more good and get refined in the process. Retirement:
Another event to be mentioned here is the retirement of Shri. S.B.Dixitji, Education Officer, VKVAPT, who had been with us since 1978. He has left an indelible mark in the heart of all the staff members with his unique working style and shown how one can age gracefully and gratefully. We would definitely miss his professional expertise. On 31st October a befitting function was organized in the administrative office for the farewell. “Fill the brain with high thoughts, highest ideals, place them day and night before you and out of that will come great work.” -Swami Vivekananda |
