Pragya Vikas Quiz & Bhagavad Gita Chanting Competitions 2011

The final rounds of Inter VKV Chinmaya Gita Chanting Competitions and Prajnya Vikas Inter VKV Quiz were held on the auspicious day of Gita Jayanti on 6^th December 2011 in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Jairampur (Arunachal Pradesh). The winners of Cluster level and State level were presented by Shri M Roy, ADC, Jairampur in the simple function organised in the Vidyalaya.

In the Prajnya Vikas Inter VKV Quiz final VKVs Bana (EMRS), Jairampur and Jirdin bagged first, second and third respectively in Group B (Seniors) and VKVs Yingkiong, Itanagar and Seijosa got first, second and third in Group A (Juniors). The young ones of VKV, Yingkiong (a primary school started a year ago in the interior part of Arunachal Pradesh), did not leave any question unanswered…!!

The results of final rounds of Inter VKV Chinmaya Gita Chanting Competitions held in Jairampur for Groups B, C and D are: Group B (Class III-V) : 1^st Kr Neelam Karap (VKV Joram), 2^nd Km Khushi Gupta (VKV Jairampur) & 3^rd Km Debosmita Dey (VKV, Itanagar); Group C (Class VI-VIII): 1^st Km Nani Reela (EMRS, Bana), 2^nd Km Piyamu Chakhap (VKV Jairampur) & 3^rd Km Nguken Lombi (VKV, Jirdin); Group D (Class IX & X): 1^st Km Nyagam Ado (VKV Tafrogam), 2^nd Km O Anisha (VKV Jairampur) & 3^rd Km Jirnoor Julia Taku (VKV, Balijan). The competition was of chanting Chapter 11, the most difficult chapter of Srimad Bhagawad Gita (VIshwaroopa Darshana Yoga). The memory, confidence and pronunciation of these participants were commendable.
