Namaskar

At the very out set congratulations to Kumari Osunam Pangkam, (VKV Balijan) on exceptional accomplishment at State Level Science Seminar. She got first and was selected to represent Arunachal Pradesh in National Science Seminar to be held at New Delhi.

Absolutely eventful days have been keeping our staff and students occupied with a lot of purposeful activities in connection with Rakshabandhan, Krishnajanmashtami, Independence Day, Solung, Ganesh Chaturthi and forthcoming Universal Brotherhood Day. Rehearsals of march past. Band, cultural shows and quiz competitions besides preparations for Formative and ensuing Summative Assessment have made VKVs centers of activities.

Sangeet Prashikshan and Padavali Shibir:-

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kitpi:-

 34^th VKV in Arunachal Pradesh is making headway. On 8 August, hopes and aspirations of Tawang populace got fulfilled when 112 cheery and merry tiny tots in tidy uniforms attended Varsharambha. It was quite a pious and ecstatic ceremony graced by DC, DDSE and SP of Tawang. Presence of simple and down to earth parents in traditional attire has made the function memorable. Kitpi is surrounded by snow clad mountains; it was heavenly experience for one and all to listen to the echo of Vedic and Buddhist chants while the rituals were performed. Active participation of Govt. staff, local people, Lamas from Tawang Monastry and former VKV students has made the ceremony only one of its kind.  There is an adequate infrastructure, and the school campus is maintained spick and span.

Science Seminar 2011:-

VKVs have ascertained their towering scientific skills alongside presentation as well in the state level Science Seminar on 27^th August at Itanagar. There were 14 contestants drawn from all over Arunachal Pradesh those got first position in their respective district. Out of these, eight were from VKVs. The details of VKV participants are given below:

Kudos to Km. Osunam Pangum and Kr. Jamlar Kojum Tungi of VKV Balijan and Bana respectively for outstanding performance and bringing laurels to VKVs.  

Parents Meeting:- 

A few of our schools could conduct parents’ meeting of classes IX, X, XII and some could conduct it for  other classes also. It was very inspiring and encouraging.  All the principals are requested to go for organizing the parents’ meet as they help all the stakeholders and strengthen us.

National Teachers Awards:-

 Shrimati Manju Dixit, Senior Teacher, VKV Itanagar and Sri PK Pandey, Principal, VKV Tafrogam have been selected for the prestigious ‘Rashtriya Shikshak Sanman’.Great accomplishment it is! A feather of fame in the crowning glory of VKVs. The awards also connote recognition and appreciation of VKVs by the nation.

Prajnya Vikas Quiz 2011:-

 The first round was conducted on 27^th August at six different venues. In group A (Junior) VKVs Seijosa, Itanagar, Yingkiong, Kharsang. Tafrogam and Joram ranked first in their respective clusters and have qualified for final. VKVs Bana, Nirjuli, Jirdin, Jairampur, Amliang and Yazali have emerged as winners in group B and are in the final fray to vie for Prajnya Vikas Trophy.
